The drawers are easy to shut and open however I found the plastic's textured coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge at this price with Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also comes with numerous options for customizing. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter requires a change.

It is nice it GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to select the number of cups they would like to disperse. The fridge shows a countdown to reveal how much water remains but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for a few reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed by more than a fraction, this is crucial to prevent freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, achieving the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our testing.

Another issue with the door of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles at the front, which allows shorter people to easily pull them open from the bottom, however they're still difficult for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been better if they had a front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those looking to blend the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with a more efficient design. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also a little less than the top counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune this Frigidaire is a great choice. It has a simple design that's not as striking in appearance as some of the competition however it comes with enough features to make it a solid option. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser, as well as an excellent Ice machine that is fast.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer lets you direct the majority of the fridge's cooling power to this area, so that you can keep food items that require special attention.
